Description We are in search of skilled Family Law Paralegals to join our teams in Dallas, and in Frisco, Texas. The selected candidate will be instrumental in supporting attorneys through all stages of family law and litigation processes. You will be a good fit for wither position if you take pride in providing great customer service and enjoy working for a law firm that is continuing to grow. You will take pride in assisting your attorneys with all aspects of family law and litigation matters from initial intake through trial. Responsibilities: • Remain focused, passionate, and committed to providing your clients with the best service possible • Manage cases effectively, ensuring all necessary actions are taken in a timely and efficient manner. • Draft and electronically file pleadings with the Court, ensuring all correspondence is accurately addressed and delivered. • Handle heavy client contact, maintaining professional and positive communication at all times. • Draft subpoenas and schedule depositions, hearings, and trials with the Court. • Assist attorneys in the preparation and production of discovery. • Prepare for all stages of trial, including the preparation of exhibits, stipulations, and trial notebooks. • Complete client inventory and appraisements, as well as financial information sheets. • Attend both jury and bench trials, assisting with witness preparation when necessary. • Utilize case management software and calendar management tools to organize and track all case details and proceedings. • Leverage strong communication skills to liaise effectively between clients, Courts, and opposing counsel To apply, email your resume to: rosemarie.jonesroberthalf.< com > Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a family law paralegal role • Proficient in Case Management Software • Excellent Calendar Management skills • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal • Experience in Family Law is essential • Required to have experience drafting subpoenas, scheduling depositions, hearings and trial with the Court • A valid certification or degree in paralegal studies from an accredited institution • Must have experience completing client inventory and appraisements and financial information sheets • Trial experience/attendance necessary to include assisting with witness preparation • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Excellent research and report-writing skills • Must have experience electronically filing with the Court You have the power to do great things.
