Description We are seeking an experienced Paralegal in Boston who can administer and manage complex corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience. The areas of expertise include drafting, filing, and managing business entity documents for corporations, LLCs, and partnerships, as well as possessing experience in complex commercial real estate matters such as UCC searches, lien searches, title examinations, asset searches, foreclosures, real estate conveyancing, and the preparation of commercial loan documents and closing binders. Responsibilities: The main area of concentration is Corporate and Real Estate tasks. However, there is also a need for Trusts and Estates, though not as important. The daily tasks include preparing state and federal estate tax returns, preparation of ancillary estate planning documents, such as durable powers of attorneys, health care proxies, living wills, HIPAA forms, and basic funding documents. Skills and Abilities: The desired candidate should have skills and experience in the administration of complex and taxable estates, ILIT administration. The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines is a crucial part of the role. Proficiency in researching online portals, including registries of deeds, and working with excel is also required. Requirements Requirements: Candidates must be proficient in calendaring and tracking deadlines, using estate tax filing applications (ideally GEMS), and researching online portals. Previous experience in estate planning and corporate paralegal work is necessary for this position. A successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
