Description We are in search of a Paralegal to join our team in Carthage, Tennessee. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of general litigation, including drafting pleadings, preparing for trial, and managing case files. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Draft, revise and finalize legal documents and pleadings related to litigation • Efficiently manage and organize a substantial amount of case files • Utilize case management software for tracking and managing cases • Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits, assisting with witness preparation, and handling document filing • Conduct legal research and draft discovery responses to support ongoing cases • Handle e-Filing and calendar management to ensure all deadlines are met • Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and maintaining legal documents. Requirements • Possess proficiency in Case Management Software to organize and manage legal cases efficiently • Skilled in Calendar Management to schedule appointments, meetings, and deadlines effectively • Experience with e-Filing systems for submitting documents to courts electronically • Knowledge of Discovery process in legal proceedings to gather information pertinent to the case • Expertise in Trial Preparation including research, document drafting, and coordination with clients and legal teams.
