Description Position: Paralegal Location: Potomac, MD Work Schedule: In Office 5 Days/Week Salary: $50-65k DOE plus benefits Responsibilities: • Assist in all phases of a matter from case inception through completion. • Assist with preparation and drafting of corporate documents. • Coordinate with attorneys and paralegals to track matter deadlines. • Assist attorneys in preparing and finalizing business transactions, to include preparation of documents, checklists, due diligence, and closing binders, prior to and after settlement of business closings. • Prepare, submit and track annual/periodic compliance filings with the Secretaries of State, Corporation Commissions, and other state and commonwealth offices in all 50 states. • Assist with the administration of Maryland Agents, LLC, the firm’s resident agent company. • Setup and manage services through commercial third-party registered agents to provide registered agent representation to clients’ entities in foreign jurisdictions. • Assist with filing UCC statements For immediate and confidential consideration, please submit resumes directly to Vice President of Permanent Placement, Anne-Laure McGrory at anne-laure [dot] mcgrory [at] roberthalf [dot] [com]. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 1 year experience as a Paralegal. • Proficient in Corporate & Commercial law. • Must have experience in Transactional law- corporate, non-profit, real estate. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
