Description Established law firm in San Jose, CA has an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal! This Litigation Paralegal will work alongside a team of diverse professionals while assisting attorneys in handling all aspects of litigation. The qualified candidate will assist attorneys in managing evidence, answering interrogatories, and preparing motions, complaints, briefs, and other legal documents; interviewing clients and witnesses for hearings, deposition, and trial; be familiar with e-discovery and coordinating with outside vendors and contractors to perform discovery obligations, and be versed in excel and data creation. The ideal candidate will be able to work on-site full-time and have 5+ years of experience in a litigation paralegal capacity with exposure to e-discovery. Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys in managing evidence and preparing motions, complaints, briefs, and other legal documents • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to fulfill e-discovery obligations • Utilize case management software to organize and maintain client records • Draft legal documents to be used in hearings, depositions, and trials • Interview clients and witnesses to gather information for hearings, depositions, and trials • Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data creation and management • Conduct a variety of legal support work as permitted by the rules of the California State Bar • Utilize skills in Civil Litigation and Litigation Paralegal to assist in trial preparation Requirements Qualifications: • Must possess a minimum of 5 years' experience as a litigation paralegal • Demonstrable experience with e-discovery is a must • Must be skilled in using Microsoft Excel and prior experience with ESI Discovery is a plus • Must possess a Paralegal Certificate or a degree in paralegal studies or an attorney attestation • Must possess strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
