Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Paralegal to join a personal injury defense team in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have experience with personal injury and catastrophic loss defense. The Paralegal will perform heavy discovery work and file management. This opportunity is hybrid, direct hire, and full-time with a salary range up to $85K.

Responsibilities

* Research and analyze case issues; obtain, review, and analyze documents including medical records, financial records, tax and employment records, and other relevant documents

* Draft/coordinate written discovery and document production

* Compile evidence and supporting information by conducting legal research; perform social media and background searches

* Track all discovery and pleadings deadlines

* Communication of issues with experts; investigation analysis of expert qualifications and experience

* Coordinate inspections

* Correspond/coordinate with investigators, clients, and opposing counsel

* Generate status reports, logs, and indices

* Trial preparation including trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files; trial logistics and trial attendance (may require travel)

Requirements

* 5+ years' experience in catastrophic personal injury/wrongful death defense

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and/or Paralegal Certificate or substantial equivalent experience in catastrophic personal injury/wrongful death defense

* Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

* Strong analytical skills; advanced oral and written-communication skills

* Strong time management and organizational skills with an ability to work in a high-volume office and team environment are essential
