Description We are on the lookout for a Corporate Paralegal who can bring their expertise in commercial contracts to our team in the financial services industry. This position can sit on a remote basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties that include managing contracts and other legal documents, all while working in a dynamic environment that values collaboration and innovation. Responsibilities: + Contract management + Draft, review, format, and revise contracts and legal documents + Supporting M& A activities; + Legal Research: Conducting legal research and staying up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations. + Provide guidance to business unit leaders record requests, such as levy, garnishment, subpoena, and other legal process and on matters that affect account management, such as trust, power of attorney, business formation and governance, guardianship, conservatorship, estate, and similar documents. + Perform other paralegal duties as necessary Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience in a paralegal role within a corporate legal department • Proven experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements. • Strong legal research and analytical skills. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Proficiency in using legal research software and other related tools. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Detail oriented certification as a paralegal is a plus. • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
