Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life and Disability Insurance PTO - Paid time off On-site medical center 403b retirement plan Continuing education programs Tuition-assisted program Career growth opportunities Competitive Salary Hybrid work schedule Job Summary: The Paralegal will perform a variety of tasks to support the SEVP/COLO and the two Assistant Vice Presidents, Legal and Associate Counsel (AVP), including organizing reviewing and drafting of commercial, government and employment agreements, maintaining and organizing files, conducting legal research, and drafting other legal documents. Responsibilities Supports the SEVP/COLO and AVPs as directed. Helps prepare for trials and discovery by organizing documents and assisting with other tasks as required. Drafts for review corporate documents, trustee and Board meeting minutes and By-laws. Prepares affidavits, legal correspondence and other documents for attorney review. Organizes and maintains documents in paper and electronic filing systems. Gatherers and analyzes statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, documents and other data for use by the SEVP/COLO. Other duties as assigned by the SEVP/COLO, or designee. Qualifications Experience in non-profit and health care work preferred and ability to work in electronic data bases and record keeping required. 5 years’ experience preferred and Bachelor’s degree required. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, and Word. Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills required as well as the ability to multi-task, manage time sensitive documents and work in a fast-paced environment.
