We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Legal industry, specifically in Bethesda, Maryland, United States. The role is for a Paralegal who will be instrumental in supporting our team with various legal tasks and responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Provide vital assistance to attorneys across all phases of litigation, including trials, arbitrations, and evidentiary hearings
• Undertake the organization and preparation of discovery requests and responses
• Be responsible for conducting thorough document reviews and managing document production processes
• Ensure trial materials, exhibits, and binders are well-organized for hearings or trials
• Establish a detail-oriented rapport with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel, effectively interacting with all parties
• Engage in interviews of parties, witnesses, and experts, assisting with the creation of interview memos, written statements, and/or affidavits
• Utilize all available resources, including libraries and computer data systems, to perform legal research tasks as assigned
• Assist in the development of early case assessments and in maintaining regular status reporting to clients
• Implement lead counsel’s strategy on cases, understanding and deploying the necessary steps

Requirements • Must possess knowledge of Case Management Software for efficient handling of legal cases
• Demonstrable experience in Civil Rights Litigation, safeguarding the rights and interests of clients
• Proficiency in Commercial Litigation, effectively resolving disputes related to commercial transactions
• Should have experience with Complex Business Litigation, adept at handling intricate business disputes
• Expected to have expertise in Complex Commercial Litigation, dealing with complicated commercial disputes
• Prior Civil Litigation Experience, managing disputes between parties in non-criminal legal matters
• Must be proficient in Civil Litigation, representing clients in trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
