Description About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to assist with pre-litigation work and help streamline case management. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of insurance company terminology, including subrogations and medical billing, and experience in a medical biller’s office or medical malpractice cases. Key Responsibilities: + Assist with pre-litigation casework, learning specific processes quickly. + Support attorneys by handling case files, documentation, and insurance communications. + Help offload casework rather than independently running cases. + Utilize Needles and CasePeer software to manage case information. + Work remotely, with the expectation of coming into the office 1-2 times per month (fully remote possible for highly experienced candidates). Requirements Qualifications: + Experience in personal injury law with a focus on pre-litigation work; can also have a background in medical malpractice or insurance litigation. + Familiarity with insurance terminology, medical billing, and subrogation. + Background in a medical biller’s office or medical malpractice cases preferred. + In-state experience highly preferred due to familiarity with local legal processes. + Proficiency in Needles and CasePeer or similar case management software.
