Description We are in the process of recruiting a skilled Paralegal to be an integral part of our team, based in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, such as handling estate planning, tax, and probate matters. Responsibilities • Efficiently handle the process of trusts, including tasks like administration, funding, and issuing notices. • Take charge of the preparation of estate planning documents and related trust funding. • Manage the estate tax returns, gift tax returns, individual and fiduciary income tax returns (1041, 1065 and 706). • Oversee probate administration by handling tasks such as opening and closing estates, e-filing, preparing accountings, and managing asset transfers. • Maintain efficient communication with clients and advisors. • Utilize case management software for accurate and efficient work. • Display an understanding of estate planning principles and trust funding procedures. • Coordinate with clients' financial advisors about beneficiary designation forms. • Exhibit proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe. • Ensure high volume priorities are managed effectively while working with others to meet deadlines. • Show attention to detail and good judgment in all tasks.
