Description We are in search of a Paralegal to support our law firm client on a hybrid basis located in Los Angeles, California. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity where you will conduct legal research, manage calendars, and prepare for trials. The industry of focus is law and the workplace will require a detail-oriented individual with strong case management skills. Responsibilities: • Conduct extensive legal research to support ongoing cases • Manage and organize the calendar for case hearings, meetings, and deadlines • Prepare comprehensive briefings for trial cases • Administer claims and ensure all relevant documents are in place • Utilize the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for legal document management • Employ Aderant and CompuLaw software for case management and billing functions • Draft discovery documents, both responding and propounding • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders involved in the case • Use Adobe Acrobat for document creation and editing. Requirements • Applicant must hold a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Paralegal role • Proficiency in Aderant software is required • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is desired • Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is necessary • Experience with Case Management Software is crucial • Ability to handle CompuLaw operations is expected • Knowledge of Billing Functions within a legal framework is required • Experience in Briefing and ability to summarise case details effectively is necessary • Proficiency in Calendar Management for scheduling appointments and deadlines is expected • Strong skills in Claim Administration are required • Exceptional Communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
