Job Description

This is a short-term contract position that that will focus on supporting the legal department on a range of legal issues and projects.

Specific Responsibilities:

Obtain and maintain business licenses, fictitious business name certificates, vehicle registrations and renewals, permits and other annual renewals.Assist with insurance program compliancePrepare initial drafts of franchise documents, non-disclosure and independent contractor agreements for General Counsel reviewFormat documents, proofread, draft letters and manage communications with outside agencies, company team members and contractors, and franchisees. Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Paralegal and General Counsel

Compensation:

$25-$40 per hour depending on prior experience

QualificationsCollege degree and/or paralegal certificationMust have prior experience working as a paralegal in one or more positions in a busy, fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office 365 suitePrior experience in an in-house corporate legal department setting a plus, but not required.
