Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provides litigation support to the Legal DepartmentResponsible for matter management in the labor and employment practice areaCoordinates document production and partners with outside counsel in litigation mattersConducts document, factual and legal research in connection with new and ongoing legal mattersConducts investigations, interviews, witnesses and gathers evidence related to various legal issues (i.e. discrimination, wage and hour, non-compete, and other employment law areas)Assists in drafting Company responses to administrative agencies (i.e. state and federal Department of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission)Assists in coordinating government audit responsesDrafts and reviews various legal documents, correspondence, and communicationsActs as a liaison between the Legal Department and other internal departments to support litigation and investigation effortsMay respond to or assist in responses to team member inquiries to the Legal DepartmentPerforms other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:Paralegal certificate requiredCollege degree preferred, but not requiredThree to five (3-5) years of legal experience related to employment law in either a law firm or in- house setting preferredAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent organizational, written and verbal skills, with the ability to quickly analyze issues and craft practical, business-oriented solutionsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to consistently meet deadlines with high-quality work product in a fast-paced environmentAbility to interact and communicate effectively with all areas and levels of the organization and outside counselAbility to use judgment, tact, and discretionComputer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)Excellent communication skillsAbility to interact effectively with all areas and levels of the organizationProficiency in the English language requiredPay Information$60,000-$62,000 + 5,000K annually Maxim Benefits:
