As Paralegal I, you will perform various duties under the direction of the Paralegal Manager and Supervising Attorney in IT Legal Contracts. This position is fast-paced and requires close attention to detail, excellent time-management skills and personal accountability. Still, you will have the support of your team to assist with task delegation and workload management, helping foster a collaborative and unified environment in which to enhance your skills. 

A caregiver in this position works remotely from 8:30AM – 5:00PM. 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Review and analyze various legal documents. Draft routine legal documents under the direct supervision of an attorney or Paralegal Manager. Compile information concerning pertinent issues and prepare written summaries, analysis, statistics, charts and graphs that clearly detail the findings. Communicate with both Legal colleagues and business colleagues about legal advice under supervision of an attorney. Perform legal and factual research. Maintain information in department databases. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Proficiency in using Word, Track Change tool and Excel Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent certificate of completion from an accredited Paralegal Program Entry-level experience in a law firm, health care system or corporate legal department Strong organizational, communication and teamwork skills 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Certificate of completion from an accredited Paralegal Program Five or more years of IT and/or contracting experience
