Description We are offering a long term contract opportunity for a Paralegal II in Arlington, Virginia. As a Paralegal II, you will be tasked with supporting attorneys, researching and analyzing legal sources, and preparing various legal documents. You will also have a role in resolving routine legal matters. Responsibilities: • Support attorneys in their work • Research and analyze legal sources such as laws, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes • Prepare legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, among others • Utilize a variety of field's concepts, practices, and procedures in the execution of tasks • Apply experience and judgement to plan and achieve goals • Resolve routine legal issues under the direction of an attorney • Oversee the work of others when necessary • Utilize creativity and latitude in the execution of tasks • Maintain familiarity with financial notes and legal documentation. Requirements • 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area • Proficiency in planning and organizing legal proceedings • Familiarity with standard legal procedures and practices • Ability to handle and interpret financial notes • Strong skills in research analysis, particularly in a legal context • Experience in drafting and managing legal documentation • Knowledge of the appeals process • Creativity in problem-solving and strategizing within legal parameters • Proficiency in preparing pleadings • Understanding of various legal issues and ability to provide solutions • Experience in drafting briefs • Familiarity with legal statutes and their interpretation • Ability to analyze and apply judicial decisions • Knowledge of legal codes and their application • Experience in drafting wills and handling related issues • Proficiency in contract finance and related legal matters Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
