As Paralegal II, you will provide support to Transactional and Regulatory Attorneys through research-heavy contract drafting, amendments, excel spreadsheets and other documents. You will collaborate with the Contracts Administrator, helping maintain physician contracts and transfer, vendor, managed care and student affiliation agreements. On this team, you will join seven Attorneys, three supporting Attorneys and two fellow Paralegals. Local Weston/Indian River residents will work a hybrid schedule, while other Florida caregivers can work remotely. This role is a great steppingstone within the Legal Department where you can grow, enhance your skills and find your place at Cleveland Clinic.
A caregiver in this position works a remote/hybrid schedule from 8:00AM – 5:00PM, with three onsite days/week requirements for local residents.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Perform paralegal duties including reviewing and analyzing various legal documents; drafting routine legal documents. Compile information concerning pertinent issues and prepare written summaries, statistics, charts and/or graphs that clearly detail the findings. Interact professionally with internal and external entities, including government agencies, expert witnesses, corporations and law firms to gather information or data. Perform legal, factual and legislative research to identify issues. Organize, develop or maintain departmental informational databasesMinimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's Degree or certificate of completion from an accredited Paralegal Program Significant understanding of legal process, legal terms and concepts in specific area of law Five years of Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience in a law firm, health care system or corporate legal departmentPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
