Compensation: $55.00/hourLocation: Spring, TX Assignment Duration: 12 months+Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), holidays and PTO Responsibilities Provides legal support to assigned attorneys or projects by conducting research, organizing files, scheduling depositions and maintaining recordsResearches various states' requirements for licensing and certification requirements and prepares documents as neededCoordinates and gathers input across multiple corporate disciplines including: Accounting, HR, Risk Management and ProcurementSubagreement review/preparation Attendance of kick-off meetings.  Determine whether any of the existing templates fit the need or whether additional support/language is requiredWriting fit-for-risk language to support commercial strategy  established by the categoriesSupport review and draftingh of a variety of templatesPrepare summary and analysis and participate in review of templates with functional stakeholdersMaintains files/database to ensure no lapses in certificationsSupports on-going projects and monitor compliance with contract requirements/certificationsMinimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the positionAble to supervise other junior paralegals if neededThis position might be described as an expert Paralegal or Law Clerk with some law training but not an attorney Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferredResearch skills, legal administration skills, organization, planning, and attention to detailUnconventional contract experience is a plusStrong writing skillsFamiliarity with commercial principles and reviewing/negotiating language regarding sameExperience negotiating MSAs and similar framework agreementsPrefer oil & gas/manufacturing experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or LegalAdvanced skills in Microsoft Word (formatting/redlining)High School diploma or equivalent required
