An established workers compensation law firm is hiring a Paralegal in Orlando, 32801. This is a permanent position offering full time hours + benefits. Pay is negotiable; anticipated starting salary for qualified paralegals is $58,000.00 – $65,000.00

About the law firm: The firm offers medical, dental, vision, IRA and PTO. This is a small law office with a friendly and welcoming team. The firm is focused on Workers Compensation and Consumer Law and has been recognized as an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell firm.

About the position: The litigation paralegal will focus on Workers compensation claims from claimants. Duties will include client intake, new client packets, medical records requests, some presuit support, litigation, discovery and trial binder prep. Paralegals should have experience preparing various legal documents, Florida E-FIle, scheduling etc. The Paralegal will work closely with a trial attorney and legal assistant who handles the majority of scheduling.

Minimum Requirements
3+ years Workers Compensation
3+ years Litigation
3+ as a paralegal or “legal assistant” with paralegal skills
Strong organization skills
