The role you’ll contribute:

Provides patients with support treatment, care, and evaluations prior to and during transportation.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

Identifies, intervenes, and stabilizes patients during transport, under the direction of the medical director and EMS protocols.

Provides direct medical care to patients during transport consistent with established EMS medical protocols and guidelines.

Establishes and manages advanced airways via intubation, Laryngeal mask airway (LMA), and/or cricothyrotomy as approved by EMS medical protocols.

Responsible to manage during transport, Ventilators, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Left ventricular assit devices (LVAD).

Responsible for administration of approved medications consistent with approved EMS medical protocols.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Graduated from a Paramedic program

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification

Paramedic license required from the respective state board and/or respective state equivalent.

Valid Class E State Driver’s License (or comparable state license), or Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), and driving record in accordance with facility policy.

Commercial Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) (May be completed after hire) or Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC)
