All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full-time **Shift** : Night Shift · **Nights Shift times:** o 1pm to 1am o 3pm to 3am o 7pm to 7am **The community you’ll be caring for:** _AdventHealth Waterman: 1000 Waterman Way, Tavares, FL 32778_ **The role you’ll contribute:** The Emergency Services Paramedic practices is primarily responsible for collaborating with the Charge Nurse and/or primary nurse to deliver expeditious patient care as assigned throughout the department. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Assists and coordinates the immediate off-load of patients arriving via EMS with the primary nurse and/or charge nurse. · Participates in the assessment, evaluation and effectiveness of the plan of care on an ongoing basis. · Monitors cardiac/telemetry status and vital functions of all patients. · Recognize hemodynamic changes and lethal arrhythmias. · Establishes and maintains patency of peripheral intravenous lines. **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:** + **Minimum qualifications** : + High school diploma or Associates of Science (AS) degree. + Current active Florida Paramedic license. + One year healthcare or field experience. + **Preferred qualifications:** + Associates of Science (AS) degree.
