Paramedic-Occupational-Mobile-Contingent

General Summary:

A professional care provider who shares responsibility and accountability for a group of patients. Works in collaboration with other healthcare providers. May administer drugs under ACLS protocols in code situations at the direction of the physician and under the supervision of a registered nurse. May also work on the Mobile One health unit, and drive the vehicle as required. (This mobile Unit travels to different locations for events like Annual Audiograms (hearing tests), Vaccines and Annual Respiratory tests for example).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Completion of a Paramedic program. Minimum of at least one-year experience in the field as a paramedic, preferred. Maintains current ACLS and BCLS provider status. Licensure as a Paramedic in the State of Michigan.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Requires prolonged use of hands, ability to reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel, talk, hear, and smell. Must be able to regularly lift, carry, position, and/or move 50 pounds or more.
