Job Overview:
The Paramedic Educator facilitates various responsibilities within the Paramedic Program, including but not limited to delivering classroom lectures, participating in classroom activities, clinical activities, equipment maintenance, and maintaining compliance with student records and skill sessions throughout the RWJBarnabas Health System and program. The Paramedic Educator will report directly to the Paramedic Program Manager. The Paramedic Educator models the expected behaviors, engages staff with professionalism, courtesy, and respect, and supervises the daily operations of education programs within the Training Center.

Identify opportunities to improve safety and a healthy work environmentCommunicate with all staff and students with empathy and respect to ensure and maintain a high level of professionalism, employee satisfaction and retentionDevelop and maintain constructive working relationships with management, personnel, staff members and stakeholders to promote cooperation, employee satisfaction and customer serviceParticipates in the onboarding of new employeesParticipates in instruction of courses offered by the Training Center as need arisesParticipate in the review and revision of departmental and educational policyParticipates in standing and ad hoc committees formed by RWJBH and NJOEMS as the need arisesTakes appropriate measures to work within established budgetsParticipate in special projects and perform other duties as assignedOther Duties:
