ResponsibilitiesParamedic is responsible and accountable for the delivery of safe patient care, patient privacy and confidentiality in the venue setting. Paramedic can respond quickly and accurately to changes in patients condition and/or response to treatments provided. He / She communicates effectively with the coworkers (EMT, other paramedics, other facility staff, security, sporting staff) about the changes in the patient’s clinical condition. Is knowledge about reporting child/adult abuse appropriately.
QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid paramedic license issued by the State of Kansas (KS) and/or the State of Missouri.
2. Current BCLS (AHA or Red Cross) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Minimum of one (1) year as a paramedic in an EMS or in an acute care hospital setting: E.R. setting preferred.
