Responsibilities:

    •    Perform and keep accurate records of daily maintenance and checks on machines
    •    Report all potential maintenance issues and machinery problems to both Terrain Park and Maintenance Shop Managers
    •    Operate grooming equipment in a safe and efficient manner
    •    Perform all assigned tasks set for that shift both on and off the machinery. Manual labor is involved on a regular basis
    •    Build and maintain Terrain Park Features, ranging from Small to XL
    •    Time management and ability to prioritize workloads
    •    Remain in contact with the Terrain Park manager and provide daily updates
    •    Winching XL and L jump landings*
    •    Ski or board in the Terrain Parks and evaluate conditions an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    ▪    The Grooming Equipment Operator must be mechanically inclined
    ▪    Must be a physically fit, energetic and self-assured individual
    ▪    The operator must be able to work well within a team
    ▪    Must be able to work independently
    ▪    The operator must be comfortable operating equipment in all weather conditions, keeping in mind that this is a mountain atmosphere, and that extreme weather is encountered on a regular basis.
    ▪    The operator must be capable of accepting and following directions to perform tasks efficiently and safely
    ▪    The operator must have previous Terrain Park building experience
    ▪    Winch experience considered an asset

Hours:

    ▪    Per week range between 16-36 P/T 
    ▪    Two x 10–12-hour days or Three x 12-hour days
    ▪    Winter Seasonal Role
    ▪    Wage  - depends on experience ($29/ hr)
