Park Yield Optimization Intern, Summer/Fall 2025
**About the Role & Program** Do you love using data to tackle sophisticated, impactful business problems? As part of the Revenue Planning & Optimization organization, our team is responsible for financial and operational analysis supporting the strategic revenue objectives of Disney Experiences. Candidates should have a natural curiosity to understand the "why" behind business performance, take a proactive role in problem-solving, be results oriented, be able to prioritize, and be standout colleague in a collaborative environment. **The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 through January 2026.** **What You Will Do** As a Yield Optimization Intern, you will be part of an analytically driven and operationally engaged team that helps bring remarkable experiences, unparalleled services, and innovative products to life across both our Theme Park Admissions and In-Park Events & Activations teams! + Perform strategic analysis of in-park events and activations to support profit optimization while protecting dayside Guest experience. + Support ticket inventory management strategy for Hard Ticket Events. + Translate business questions into actionable plans for analysis including demonstrating conceptual, statistical, and financial techniques. + Use, monitor, and improve dashboards and data visualizations. + Extract, analyze, and interpret detailed data sets. + Articulate clear, accurate insights and value propositions of proposed solutions to business opportunities. + Build strong presentations that show context to analysis and link to actionable recommendations. + Learn from and collaborate with dedicated analytical professionals who are passionate about their roles. **Required Qualifications & Skills** + Proficiency in Microsoft Office. + Able to query data with SQL. + Experience with data visualization using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar. + Creative, detail oriented, problem solving and analytical skills. + Sense of responsibility, independence, ownership and pride in delivering quality results, and understanding business impacts. + Curiosity about pursuing a strategic and analytical career path. **Preferred Qualifications** + Proven experience with a programming language (Python, R, etc.) **Education** + Junior or Senior year preferred. + Major or previous coursework in Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related major preferred. **Eligibility Requirements & Program Information** **Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:** + Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. + Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program. + Be at least 18 years of age + Possess unrestricted work authorization. **Additional Information** + Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship + Fully available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week. + Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, FL area. + Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work. + Be compliant with The Disney Look (https://disneycasting.net/downloads/wdpr/Disney\_Look\_Book.pdf) appearance guidelines. + Limited housing opportunities may be available for Florida Based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities, for more information click here . **Recommendation – Print This Role Description:** We encourage applicants to print a copy of this role description so they can refer to it in the event they are selected for a phone interview.
