Job Summary
Responsible for cashiering function at parking control booth. Take parking ticket and properly records each transaction using the fee computer and cash register. Charge the patron the correct amount and returns the correct change. Perform proper opening procedures in accordance with Parking/Valet Manual. Perform proper closing procedures in accordance with Parking/Valet Manual. Perform proper cash handling and money drop procedures as outlined in Parking/Valet Manual. Keeps all drive lanes clear and easily accessible in designated areas. Direct drivers to appropriate parking areas in a timely manner. Contact Public Safety Command Center and/or Public Safety Officer to report parking policy violations. Monitor parking control gates and reports malfunctions to Parking Manager in a timely manner. Fill ticket dispensing machine as needed. Report to Parking Manager any damage to vehicles caused by parking control gates. Could be cross trained in other areas for assistance when needed.

Qualifications
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
+ Experience: Minimum of one year experience in similar position, preferred
+ Additional Skills Required: Thorough knowledge and understanding of cashiering operations, including the ability to operate a fee computer and cash register, count cash, complete cash report and make daily deposits. Extensive ability to meet and greet the public. Considerable ability to solve problems on an independent basis.
