For more information about us, visit our website: http://transport.tamu.edu What we want We have multiple positions available for Program Aides with Parking Services that will be responsible for providing parking information and campus directions to our customers, maintaining a standing stationary position to assist authorized vehicles in parking efficiently, and performing traffic direction while working Parking Services Special Events. You can expect a lot of public interaction while providing customer service and traffic direction. This is an outstanding opportunity to earn extra part-time income while being part of an award winning organization at A&M University. Program Aides with Parking Services will be required to work all home football games with Parking Services as well as 10 additional special events during the Fall semester and 15 additional special events during the Spring/Summer semester. Report time on football game days is normally 5:30 a.m. and continues until approximately 3 hours past the end of the game. What you need to know Rate of Pay: $18.00/hr ($20.00/hr for working Football games) Schedule/Training: Scheduled hours will vary from 10 to 22 hours/day depending on each game's start time. Training is provided. Required Education and Experience: + High School or GED Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: + Able to comprehend and follow instructions + Be friendly, courteous, and have strong people and verbal skills + Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others + Work cooperatively with others or on your own + Must be able to work all A&M home football games as well as 10 additional special events during the Fall semester and 15 additional special events during the Spring/Summer semester Preferred Education and Experience: + Customer service experience + Experience in parking & traffic Responsibilities: + Provide parking information and campus directions to our customers + Maintaining a standing stationary position to assist authorized vehicles in parking efficiently + Perform traffic direction while working Parking Services Special Events + Public interaction while providing customer service and traffic direction and perform other duties as assigned + Report time on football game days is normally 5:30 a.m. and continues until approximately 3 hours past the end of the game Instructions to Applicants: Applications received by Texas A&M University and TAMHSC, must either have all job application data entered or a resume attached.
