Duties Description Under the supervision of higher-level regional office staff, the incumbent at this location will: • Reconcile and verify P-Card transactions using SFS (Statewide Financial System). • Input P-Card transactions into BETS (Budget Expenditure Tracking System).• Reconcile multiple department funds in BETS and SFS.• Prepare documentation for Requisitions following all purchasing guidelines.• Process Direct Pays and Receiving Reports in SFS.• Maintain digital and physical files and assist with the Record Retention program, including retrieving files from storage and shredding old files.• Add new assets to Asset Cloud for the Administration Building and assist with the annual inventory audit.• Perform other clerical duties as needed to assist the Regional Business Office.• Use a variety of spreadsheets to track and monitor spending, reconcile various tracking systems, and investigate discrepancies.

Additional Comments OPERATING NEEDS:• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that allows the candidate to legally operate a motor vehicle in New York State as a term and condition of employment.• High School or Equivalency Diploma, College Degree with coursework in accounting or auditing preferred but not required. • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, etc. • Must be able to analyze datasets to discover errors.BENEFITS:This position has the option to join the NYS Employees’ Retirement System and may be eligible for health insurance, dental and vision coverage as well as the opportunity for paid time off in the form of vacation, sick, personal and holiday leave after time and service requirements have been met.
