LCRA’s West District Parks is looking to add to our team as we strive together to offer our guests safe, clean, and relaxing park environments as well as unique accommodations and adventurous activities! As a Parks Operations Coordinator II, you will be responsible for holding the standard of our parks high as you maintain and improve our grounds and facilities to achieve LCRA Parks’ goal of being the most dynamic park system in the nation.
You will be trusted to:
- Performs grounds keeping and inspects grounds to ensure they are free of trash & debris.
- Cleans facilitates (restrooms, cabins, pavilions, picnic tables, fire rings, grills) according to established standards.
- Performs routine maintenance, (painting, minor carpentry, minor plumbing, etc.)
- Performs trail maintenance.
- Supports events set up & tear down.
- Provide outstanding service to visitors and teammates, while operating with integrity and a focus on safety
You qualify with:
- Two or more years of experience in carpentry, plumbing, facility maintenance, landscaping or construction or relevant experience.
- Driver's license
You are a great fit with:
- Knowledge and experience of facility and landscape maintenance practices.
- Knowledge and experience of the safe operations of small engine equipment and hand tools such as zero turn riding mowers for landscaping, Kubota’s with bucket on the front and a shredder deck on the back, and/or skid loader with bucket, forks, drilling auger, grapple, and shredder.
- CDL Certification
