Core Responsibilities may include: * Provide assistance with meal preparation and feeding * Accompany clients on errands and appointments * Light housekeeping duties, including laundry and light cleaning * Provide companionship and emotional support * Maintain timely accurate records and documentation * Provide quality care and support to clients * Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Qualifications * PCA certification * At least one year of experience working in home care with seniors * Basic Life Support Certification * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds * English proficiency with strong communication and interpersonal skills * Must be able to pass a criminal background * Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude Essential Functions * Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Working Conditions * Primarily in-home settings * Varying shifts may include weekends and holidays Required: Two references Proof of a TB screening within the last year showing clear results Equal Opportunity Employer Statement: Always Best Care of Fairfax is an equal opportunity employer.
