Role
The Parts Sales Coordinator has the primary responsibility of working with customers on the phone to identify parts requirements, entering this information into the M2M system in a timely fashion, and assuring that parts orders are shipped according to customer requirements. This position will report to the Parts Manager and is located in Niles, Illinois.
Duties and Responsibilities
Verify that the information in the customer master file is accurate when entering orders so that orders are processed through the shop correctlyGenerate proposals for parts based on phone calls or requests provided by salesmenBecome familiar with our order entry procedure; take orders from customers and communicate the information in a well-organized formatWill often be in contact with customers on the phone; for this reason, phone etiquette and verbal communication skills are of utmost importanceProfessionally handle customer needs and requests at all times; must follow through on any commitments that are made to the customerBecome familiar with all aspects of M2M that affect the position including sales orders, quotes, item masters, purchase orders, shippers, pick lists, etc. If variances are found with on-hand balances or safety stock requirements, they need to be communicated to the Parts Manager and Inventory ManagerLearn how to handle credits and returnsInteract with other departments on a regular basis Requirements Associate’s degree preferred and/or five (5) + years of direct work experience without formal educationProficient in MS Excel, Word, and OutlookAbility to read mechanical and electrical blueprints preferredTechnical aptitudeKnowledge of refrigeration and piping/plumbing preferredSpanish fluent speaking preferredPrior experience in customer service (either face-to-face or over the phone)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have the ability to analyze information in complete detailMust have strong interpersonal skills and provide high-quality customer service

Salary Description $48,000 - $60,000
