Job Summary:  

My client in Kensington is seeking a skilled, personable, and proactive Housekeeper-Cook to join their household as soon as possible. The position offers 20 hours per week, with a commitment of 4 hours per day.

The principal frequently travels, and during these times, you will provide a steady, reliable presence in the home. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about maintaining a warm, welcoming environment while delivering top-notch service.

Job specification:

All general housekeeping duties Day to day cleaning and tidy up including, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors Changing and making beds Organising cupboards, managing the wardrobes High Laundry care standards and ironing Running local errands on occasion Accepting deliveries Able to follow recipes, grocery list management, preparing food for principle

Candidate specification:

Good English communication skills. Experience working in Large London homes. Must be confident in all; aspects of housekeeping, including laundry and ironing Know your way around the kitchen, can cook a variety of dishes, or follow recipes Organised, proactive with a good eye for detail who needs no supervision Able to navigate stairs (2 floor townhouse) Must have checkable recent references and be happy to do a trial if selected
