Job Description
This Accounting Consultant will be responsible for performing reconciliations of various accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. You will manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Additionally, you will prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Utilizing Onestream software, you will handle financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis. You will also identify areas for process improvement and assist in the development and implementation of standardized accounting procedures. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all accounting activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
ResponsibilitiesPerform reconciliations of various accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.Handle financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis using Onestream software.Identify areas for process improvement and assist in the development and implementation of standardized accounting procedures.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.Ensure all accounting activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.Essential SkillsProficiency in performing reconciliations.Experience in preparing and posting journal entries.Knowledge of intercompany accounting.Experience with Onestream software.Ability to create pivot tables, Vlookups, and Sumif's in Excel.Proficiency in using large-scale ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.Additional Skills & QualificationsCPA certification.Experience with JDE software.7+ years of experience in reconciliations.7+ years of experience recording journal entries.5+ years of experience in intercompany accounting.5+ years of experience preparing financial statements.Work Environment
This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and the ability to work from any location.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
