\n \n Job Description

Property Association is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant in Wheeling, IL. This position will be 20-25 hours weekly. Primarily, candidate will provide customer service to unit owners, support managers and office leadership, handle day-to-day administrative activities, answer phones, type correspondence, maintain filing system, etc. Other duties will include giving vendors access and monitoring their progress and work on the landscape and natural area maintenance. This position will pay $16-$18 hourly.

Knowledge and Skills

\n\nBilingual Spanish/English is a plus.\nMust have excellent customer service, computer, and typing skills.\nProficient skills with Microsoft Office, Excel and the Internet.\nBe able to learn new computer software and programs and self-teach through online learning and training guides.\nMust be highly organized and know how to prioritize while working independently with minimal supervision or while in communication with team.\nStrong in multitasking and proven follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities.\nA team player with good business skills.\nWill exhibit a positive business relationship with all owners, residents, board members, vendors, and coworkers.\nCandidates should have a solid background in Customer Service any real estate background is a plus.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.\nKnowledge of communities/property/real estate and homeowners associations.\nKnowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at a proficient level.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).\nProfessional customer service skills.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\n\n

Education and Experience

\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\n0 – 3 years of Community Association experience.\n
