Asset Management Analyst (Part Time Role)

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Administrator who will be responsible for abstracting customer agreements to extract key obligations, collaborating with Asset Managers to send REC notice letters to customers, and managing contracts. The ideal candidate will have a medium level of proficiency in Excel and Smart Sheets, and will interact with team members and stakeholders to support FERC QF and EIA filings, draft roof lease commencement certificates, and manage tariff changes for SolarSmart projects.

ResponsibilitiesAbstract customer agreements to extract key obligations such as REC obligations and pricing.Collaborate with Asset Managers to send REC notice letters to customers, track responses, and follow up as needed.Coordinate and manage contracts.Utilize software tools, including Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and Smart Sheets.Interact with team members and stakeholders to compile documents and data in support of FERC QF and EIA filings.Complete filing forms and follow up with stakeholders to obtain missing data.Draft roof lease commencement certificates and distribute them to internal stakeholders.Manage tariff changes by collaborating with Asset Managers, billing teams, customers, internal departments, and utilities.Track and document progress and exceptions related to tariff changes.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and Smart Sheets.High attention to detail.Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong documentation and data entry skills.Experience with regulatory compliance.Ability to handle regulatory-level work with significant financial impact if errors occur.High attention to detail and strong follow-through.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Additional Skills & Qualifications3 years of experience in highly regulated industries.Experience in environmental and permitting work with higher regulatory stakes.Bachelor’s degree in an applicable Science, Business, or Financial field, or equivalent industry experience.Experience reading and interpreting contracts.Field experience in solar is highly valued but not required.Previous experience in asset management or project management involving multiple PV portfolios or customers.Experience working directly with large multinational customers.

Work Environment

This is a remote position with availability to work 10–20 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will be within one hour of the Central Time Zone

Flexible scheduling is available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $45.00
