Cub St. Louis Park at the West End is looking for Bakery Clerks to join their team. Primary emphasis in this position is on bakery product preparation, food safety regulations, and maintaining positive customer relations. The position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates. Perform product scanning and processing of customer order in an accurate, efficient and prompt manner. Ensure properly handling of all forms of tender, coupons, voids, returns, refunds and exchanges. Follow front end safety and security procedures. Assist with front end maintenance and cleaning. Follow all store and department policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned or delegated

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs. Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom) Reaching, standing, and turning. Judgement/decision making, social skills/verbal interactions. Memorization, reading, writing and math. Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervisor may not be immediately available. Must be at least 18 years old.

SCHEDULE:

Preference will be given to candidates with open availability. Weekend availability is required. Evening availability is required.
