Description We are seeking a Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team in. In this role, you will work with our finance team to maintain accurate financial records and perform various bookkeeping duties. This position is a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Maintain and update financial records on a regular basis • Process journal entries accurately • Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting • Handle account and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy • Use Microsoft Excel for data management and financial tracking • Assist in the month-end close process • Work collaboratively with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems • Address financial inquiries and provide necessary information • Ensure compliance with the financial regulations and industry standards. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation and bank reconciliations • Experience with Microsoft Excel • Knowledge of month-end closure processes • Familiarity with QuickBooks software • Ability to perform and manage journal entries • Part-time availability required • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Relevant certification or degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is a plus.
