Job Summary As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our clients under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your duties will include assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff. Job Description Core Responsibilities may include: * Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting * Provide assistance with meals, including feeding clients as needed * Monitor clients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse * Maintain timely accurate records and documentation * Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals * Promote a safe and clean environment for clients Qualifications: * Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license / certification in the state of Virginia * At least one year of experience in a home care setting with seniors * Basic Life Support Certification * English proficiency with strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to lift and transfer clients. * Must be able to pass a criminal background * Ability to work effectively as part of a team * Strong attention to detail * Compassionate and patient demeanor with a positive attitude Essential Functions * Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Working Conditions: * Primarily in-home settings * Varying shifts may include weekends and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer Statement: Always Best Care of Fairfax is an equal opportunity employer.
