The Tremonton Campus of USU is seeking a qualified part time classroom facilitator and outreach specialist. This dynamic individual will ensure that classes are set up and run smoothly in order for student have a quality educational experience. They will engage the community and be a presence in the local area as a representative of USU Tremonton. They will also have oversight over social media campaigns and outreach. This is an exciting and amazing opportunity for the right person with a positive attitude and an outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

Receptionist/Recruitment duties:

Help out at the Tremonton center by scheduling tests, and events.\Responsible for greeting the public, answering telephones, and providing positive communications with students and community members Handle student needs in regard to testing, classroom access, facilitation and connection for classes and events. Help students and the public with information about USU programs and offering and ensure potential students get the help they need. Maintain neat and organized personal appearance as well as maintain a positive work environment at the Tremonton center. Assist and promote community events, student government activities, and various Tremonton and region campus events Social media engagement – Coordinate social media postings and outreach. Actively participate in social media posts including a willingness to be the face of USU Tremonton city for live broadcasts and other postings. Be creative and humorous in creating engaging posts that increase public viewing and participation. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to work up to 20 hours per week and maintain a flexible schedule based on center needs, student schedules, and local events. Some nights and weekend work may be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree (or equivalent training) or higher from a college or university is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Positive personality that is inviting and engaging as well as positive personal hygiene.Strong customer service background, experience, or knowledge with the ability to apply those skills in creating positive experiences whileinteracting with others.Effective presentation and speaking skills especially while engaging individuals one on one at the front desk.Ability to work in a team setting with a service-oriented attitude and a desire to strive for continuous improvement.Responsive, creative, and able to work independently without strong oversight.Proficiency with common computer software such as word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, databases, social media sites, etc.
Willingness and ability to create social media postings and have experience actively participating in social media. Required Documents

Advertised Salary $12.00 per week ADA

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.  The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
