Job Overview:
Beacon Hill's client is seeking reliable and customer-focused professionals to join their team as Contact Center Representative. This role provides an opportunity to deliver excellent customer service while growing within the company. You will act as a frontline problem solver, assisting customers, financial professionals, and business partners via phone, email, and chat.

This primarily remote role requires candidates to reside within a 90-minute commute of our St. Paul, MN office for occasional in-office requirements, including system disruptions, training, or special events.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide empathetic and professional customer support through phone, email, and chat.Assist customers with insurance claims, policy information, and account inquiries.Explain and resolve complex issues while maintaining Securian's quality service standards.Manage 35-50 calls per day in a fast-paced, inbound service environment.Meet or exceed call center metrics while delivering an exceptional customer experience.Cross-train in additional product lines after completing primary training.

Qualifications:

Previous call center or customer service experience preferred.Strong active listening skills, empathy, and professionalism in customer interactions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multi-task, navigate multiple systems, and problem-solve efficiently.Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual with strong time management skills.Tech-savvy with proficiency in computers and strong typing skills.Must maintain confidentiality and trustworthiness in handling customer information.

Technical Requirements (for Remote Work):

Wired internet connection (WiFi not permitted)Must meet minimum bandwidth requirements for remote access.
