Part Time Customer Service Representative

**Summary**
This position will be responsible for administrative support to the Freeman Transportation department. Under direct supervision, this role will be responsible for preparing regular work assignments related to the strategy of the department or work team.
This position is a part-time role that will support our Transportation team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our Adler office location in Dallas, TX.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Coordinate all round trip, inbound, and outbound transportation requirements for exhibitor clients
+ Utilize the current Exhibit Transportation shipment management system for all shipments and ensure that all necessary shipment documentation is properly prepared and distributed
+ Effectively communicate and follow up with selective partner carriers to ensure transportation requirements are met
+ Obtain most competitive freight quotes in a timely manner and communicate suggested retail pricing to account executives
+ Effectively communicate shipment details with Freeman Transportation staffs, up to and including account executives, account managers, branch managers, and directors
+ Responsible for communicating pertinent information to internal companies and departments to ensure seamless exhibit transportation services
+ Efficiently utilize carrier software programs to monitor and manage all tendered shipments
+ Manage and reconcile all carrier invoicing and billing
+ Prepare monthly shipment and revenue reports
+ Distribute Claims forms to customers
+ Perform other duties as assigned
**Education & Experience**
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
+ Prefer to have at least two (2) years in the transportation industry
+ Prefer to be able to type 40 wpm
+ Must have excellent 10-key by touch skills
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
+ Must be detail oriented and organized
+ Good communication skills (written and verbal)
+ Strong analytical and organization skills
+ Excellent customer service skills
