Part-Time Customer Service Representative II (Aquatic Center)

JOB SUMMARY\n

Provide excellent customer service to members and participants. Assist with facility, event and program activities by performing assigned duties (i.e. facility supervision, childcare, cursory cleanup of the facility as needed, sale of products, collecting membership cards, set up, take down, etc.) Ensure safe environment for participants. Follow all City of Conroe and Center policies and procedures.\n

QUALIFICATIONS\n

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: \n\nExperience in customer service\nCash handling\nGood communication skills\nPrefer experience in delivering recreation programs and\/or services to the public\n\n

Education and Experience:\n\nMinimum age of 18 years old \nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\n

Special Requirements:\n\nAbility to obtain relevant certifications\n\n

PHYSICAL DEMANDS\n

The work is medium and requires the ability to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and\/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and\/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: crouching, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, kneeling, lifting, reaching, repetitive motions, speaking, talking, visual acuity and walking. \n

Must pass background check and pre-employment substance abuse screening as a condition of employment. A motor vehicle record check and job-related doctor's physical exam may also be required. Safety-sensitive positions remain subject to random drug and alcohol testing after hire.
