The Lane Dental Clinic and Lane Community College are seeking hygienists who can work either on an as-needed basis or with consistent hours. The clinic coordinator will work with staff on hours and schedule based on the agreed upon commitment. This is a professional dental hygienist, non-teaching assignment. The Clinic follows the Lane Community College closure and holiday schedule. This position works at the Lane Community College Dental Clinic at 2460 Willamette Street, Eugene Oregon or LCC Main Campus.


What does the clinic do differently?
The goal of the Lane Dental Clinic is to provide the public with patient-centered, comprehensive, preventive and therapeutic dental care, while at the same time providing effective, practical, educational experiences for dental hygiene and assisting students. Encourage the love of learning and service. Lane’s Clinic specializes in treating patients without recent access to dental care. Clinic staff provide teeth cleaning and restorative services with affordable prices to community members, students and those in need with dental expertise, compassion and kindness.
The selected candidate will:
Have a passion for serving others in their work and willingly mentor and develop Lane students to gain employment. Contribute to a positive atmosphere of individual caring, dedication, and service in a fast-paced clinic. Work with experienced Dentists who have committed to serving the community and training Lane students.

The Clinic Coordinator leads the work of the clinic, sets schedules, oversees daily operations, workflow, establishes procedures, gives input for clinic functions and develops organizational procedures Physical Demands/Working Environment: This position works indoors and is exposed to usual office working conditions that include office noises and interruptions, such as printers, telephones, and visitors. This position requires that an employee is able to sit or stand for extended periods of time; perform cognitive and psychometric work for more than six (6) hours a day. This position may work with individuals who may be hostile or abusive. Work may require transporting materials up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Work safely.
