PURPOSE: Thepurpose of this position is to provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customerservice in addition to shopping for and ringing up online orders.
JOBRESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Providethe best experience for our online shopping customers
Ensure quality selection of product
Execute on delivery times and order accuracy
Follow department safety and sanitationprograms for selection, transportation and delivery
Observe standards and procedures regardingstore security and confidentiality
Effective communication with other departmentsand store staff
Provide comparable products for substitution
Prepare orders for delivery by ringing up andbagging orders in an efficient and effective manner
Checking expiration dates throughout the storeduring slow periods
Functional Requirement:
Physical: walking, bending, kneeling, able toreach, lift, stack and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weighing upto 50 lbs., equipment operation (intercom, telephone, scanner, register, scale,shopping cart)
Mental: judgment/decision making, social skills/verbalinteraction, memorization, reading, writing, & math
Maintaining a positivepresence on the sales floor
Greet, Offer, & Thank all customers
Assist customers by bringing them to thelocation of product
Ensure the aisles are clear of debris at alltimes

Compensation:
UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
