An exciting opportunity awaits an enthusiastic culinary professional at Chestnut Hill Academy at Bright Horizons, a private elementary school, where our mission extends beyond education and into the vibrant world of diverse, from-scratch cuisine. We are currently seeking a part-time Cook to join our talented team. We have a fun, lighthearted, and educational approach to work in our kitchen. This role is great for someone who seeks to educate and inspire young minds through diverse, nutritious eating.
This position is perfect for someone who loves food and cooking, who is looking to make a significant impact on the dietary habits and culinary experiences of over 350 students, grades Kindergarten - 5th grade. We use high quality, responsibly sourced ingredients to make world class cuisine expanding the palates and minds of our students. Our menu changes daily. Sample meals include dishes such as; Tikka Masala, Spanakopita, Teriyaki, Shepherd's Pie, Roasted Chicken with Roasted Potatoes, along with sides of fresh, creative, in- season fruits & vegetables. Of course, kids are always excited for pizza!
This position is offering OPTIMAL hours Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. along with very competitive hourly rates.
