The Chemistry Department is seeking a part-time instructor to teach Organic Chemistry Lecture I & II this summer. + Organic Chemistry Lecture I is held May 19 – June 27, 2025 + Organic Chemistry Lecture II is held June 30 – August 8, 2025 The lecture meets in person Monday-Thursday 10-11:45am. The course’s structure and material are the same as a traditional semester but in an accelerated timeline. Topics covered include: chemistry of carbon compounds, nomenclature, structure, stereochemistry, and properties, organic reactions and mechanisms, multi-step synthesis, and structural analysis. The instructor will be supported by being provided syllabus templates and assistance related to lab preparation and assignments. Office staff aid with class logistics and student organization.
