The successful applicant will develop a curriculum and teach it during an after school computer science class from 3:45-5:00 pm, during weekdays from late September through late May. S/he will then individually lead a summer course for three weeks, which will meet five days a week. Compensation: The compensation for this position is $8,000/semester. Experience teaching students between the ages of 14 and 18, a commitment to scholarship, and a commitment to teaching a diverse student body are desirable. Interest in working with high school age students who are also completing a college-level course of study is needed. We are seeking candidates with a strong commitment to equity and social justice and desire to open up opportunities for underrepresented students.
