Part-Time Faculty (Temporary) – Business (Multiple Positions)
The Maine Business School at the University of Maine seeks to fill one or more part-time temporary (adjunct) faculty positions in the following areas: Strategic Marketing (Fall 2024), International Business, Organizational Behavior (Spring 2025), Sport Management (Fall 2024) and Supply Chain Management (Fall 2024 & Spring 2025). Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: syllabus development aligned with College expectations, lesson planning, assignment design, grading, office hours, correspondence with students, use of an online learning management system and/or instructional software, course coordination meetings with the Dean, Associate Dean, or other faculty members, and required orientation and training. Part-time temporary faculty members may be rehired in subsequent semesters based on course availability, schedule, funding, and performance. Continuation is subject to the terms of the PATFA bargaining agreement and other applicable School and University policies. Qualifications: Required: + MBA or other Master’s degree in a closely related field and current relevant professional experience in the field (at least 5 years). Or a Ph.D. in a related field.
