Metropark golf courses are a 7-day per week operation in many types of weather and top candidates should have a reasonable amount of availability for scheduling purposes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The list below is intended to describe the general nature of duties only. Employee shall perform other duties as assigned. + Maintain and weed flower beds. + Maintain and care for trees, plants, and shrubs. + Operate fairway, greens mower and other turf equipment. + Operate weed whip. + Operate utility cart. + Operate cushman. + Edge sprinkler heads. + Hand seed divots. + Pick up garbage and tree limbs. + Perform cup replacement on greens. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + Ability to use hand tools and power tools. + Ability to work in all weather conditions. + Ability to work varied hours depending upon park demands. + Ability to traverse sandy, marshy or wooded areas with even or uneven terrain. + Ability to load, unload and move materials between work locations. + Ability to get along with co-workers, supervisors, and park visitors. + Ability to distinguish letters and symbols. + Ability to perform essential duties.
